CEF 02-2022 Stability of Communal Bins

Question: 

Please could enclosures be made to ensure that the communal bins are secured? 

Some communal bins within the Two Boats Village and Georgetown are unstable and tend to fall over when subject to heavy winds. As well as causing road obstructions, the bins falling over causes litter, an increase in flies and foul smells near homes.

Thank you for this suggestion.

This is a good idea we are happy to adopt it in locations where it is needed. We will consult with our colleagues in the waste management team to identify which areas need this adjustment and will programme in any work required.
