COVID-19 Vaccination Strategy Public Meeting

As announced on 27 January 2021, Ascension is expecting to receive a delivery of AstraZeneca vaccines before the end of February.

In preparation for this AIG is holding a public meeting at 18:00 on Thursday 11 February at Two Boats Club. This will provide an opportunity for the public to hear about the how the AstraZeneca vaccine works, the strategy for administering the vaccine across the territory and what impact we expect this to have for Ascension.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend to hear about these issues and to ask questions of officials.

Further information on these issues will be made available to the public ahead of the meeting taking place and the wider vaccination campaign commencing later in the month.
