Welsh “Red Dragon” flag is flown at Government House
Falling on 01 March each year, St David’s Day is the feast day of St David, the patron saint of Wales. In recognition of the special relationship Ascension has with Wales, alongside the other British Overseas Territories, and UK government Embassies and High Commissions across the world, the Ascension Island Government is today flying the Welsh Red Dragon flag in front of Government House in Georgetown.
